Sandra Wilson, B.A., B.Ed.

Contract Psychometrist

Before starting a second career as a psychometrist, Sandra worked as a teacher, special education/resource teacher, enrichment teacher, speech and language resource teacher, and educational diagnostician within school boards. Her role at Dr. Deb Fitzpatrick and Associates as a contract psychometrist is administering tests for children and adolescents with suspected learning disorders or giftedness. A psychometrist serves a similar role as a lab technician does for a physician. A psychometrist administers and scores the selected tests, then the psychologist interprets, generates profiles, opinions, diagnoses (if there are any) and makes recommendations.

Casey Gautreau, B.A. (Psych), M.S.W. (Social Work)

Contract Psychometrist

Casey's role is largely in the educational/intellectual assessment of youths and young adults. The assessments she does with young adults can play an important role in them reaching their highest academic potential in their college or university programs, and to help them select career paths best suited to them.  Children and adults can feel at ease in working with Casey, given her ability to connect well with people of all ages.
