The majority of people seeking Clinical Psychology services have one or more challenges, problems or concerns affecting their ability to act effectively and feel good about some part of their lives (e.g., at work, in school or in relationships). They are generally seeking expert assistance and skilled practical guidance to help them with such issues. Some clients require a specific psychological expertise, such as such a diagnostic consultation or psycho-educational assessment. Our clients often want assistance in learning how they can feel less stressed, better able to meet their needs and goals, and to increase their enjoyment and satisfaction in life. Positive changes happen rapidly for some clients while for others a longer series of sessions are needed to fully address challenges or resolve problems.
