Payments are made by electronic banking transfer payments (direct to firstname.lastname@example.org), cheque or cash only. We do not have debit or credit card terminals on site. Clients are issued invoices/receipts within 24 hours, which can be submitted to their health benefits insurance company, if they have access to workplace benefits. Educational Assessments may be paid according to our three instalment option, with final payment due before the issue of the final report. Clients are typically reimbursed, as per their available coverage. We do not submit invoices on the client’s behalf (except for in the case of some government third parties).
Our fees range from $185 to $225/per psychotherapy hour for consultation, assessment, counselling, and psychotherapy. These rates may be subject to change at the discretion of the practice, and in accordance with the fee guidelines from the Ontario Psychological Association. Written reports, letters and form completion fees are separate and are commonly based on required time for completion. A standard appointment/session is based on a ’50 minute psychotherapy hour’, with additional time spent on appointment setting, arranging client resources, documentation, etc. within a 60 minute hour.
Psycho-Educational Assessment and Report costs will vary depending on the amount of testing required to address the adult/child expressed concerns or needs, and related report length. The final total payment for psycho-educational assessment is due by the final feedback appointment.
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel and/or reschedule appointments. Without 24 hour notice, our cancellation fee of $95 will be charged. We do not accept cancellations via email. Clients must call the office to notify us of cancellation and request for rescheduling. Voice mail is available 24/7 to leave any cancellation or rescheduling request, if a staff member is not available to take the call.
